It's an interesting time in a programmer's life when they decide to switch languages. Let's tour the existing programming paradigms and how they help in problem solving as well as how science generally evolves to try to find an answer to that question.

Andrea Magnorsky

Andrea ended up as a Software Developer, She is pretty sure there was no other viable option. Her current technical interests are F#, Scala and other programming languages, games and philosophy of computing .

Andrea really enjoy finding different ways to write code, sometimes for performance, other times for succinctness, sometimes, just because you can, there is no better way to learn than trying.

When She is not working she tend to play with Haskell or other languages or cats

Conferences and meetups are a great way to learn more, so she try to help when she can to make them happen. For that reason she co-organise Functional Kats and GameCraft. She also speak at local and international conferences like CodeMesh, Progressive.Net, ProF#, Lambda Days and many more.
